STUDY & WORK ABROAD PROGRAMS

Since 2005 A Door to Italy hosts U.S. students and universities and organizes for them study abroad programsinternships and faculty led.
Univerisity faculties and staff as well as indipendent students are welcome. We would be very glad to open "a door to Italy"  and let you in.

Location

The school is located in theheart of Genova, close to a Unesco National Heritage site. Genova is the capital of the region Liguria, in the North West coast, and the 6th largest city in Italy.

Genoa offers a glimpse into Italy’s historical past but provides visitors with a rich, contemporary cultural life as well. The artistic side of the town is well represented by exhibits, festivals and fairs that the city holds throughout the year. West and East coast of the Ligurian riviera are really enchanting  and picturesque with its beautiful old fishing villages, which nowadays developed their touristic character. There are many short day trips one can take outside the city, along the coast or inland in the Apennines surrounding the Genoa’s area. With all of these attractions, and with Milan, Turin, Pisa, Florence, Nice and Cannes just a short train ride away, Genoa offers itself as an ideal location.

Genova and the region Liguria are the perfect place to study Italian and to combine a beautiful and exciting study abroad experience. Our aim is to provide all participants with a life changing experience.
